[synopsis] => In a Western American town, Fuzzy, tired of running from the law, decides to settle down. However, when he realizes the town is under the control of a corrupt individual, he calls in his outlaw friends to help restore order and justice.

1941 United States Western film. Set against the backdrop of the Wild West, the film delves into the life of an outlaw-turned-homesteader and his quest for justice in a town riddled with corruption.

Set in the Wild West, "Billy the Kid Wanted" follows Fuzzy, an outlaw who decides to turn over a new leaf and become a homesteader in Paradise Valley. However, he quickly realizes that the town is under the control of the corrupt Matt Brawley, who is running a land swindle. In a bid to restore justice, Fuzzy calls upon his old friends, Billy and Jeff. When an outlaw gang led by Jack Saunders arrives, Billy devises a plan to pit them against Brawley's men, hoping they'll eliminate each other and allow the homesteaders to reclaim their land.

This film is the seventh in the "Billy the Kid" series produced by PRC. It also marked a transition in the series, with Buster Crabbe taking over the role of Billy the Kid from Bob Steele.
